We had the chance to send our daughter to learn with Miss Eva Hagn.
Even though our daughter has 4,5 years old and very energetic, she managed to teach her German and had the patience to work with her. She gave her on every less new games and materials on the paper to exercise at home.
All the administrative stuff was done fast. They offered us a tailored course with 30 minutes instead of 45 because of the age of our daughter.
In a few words, we are happy with the experience we had, and we recommend Eva as a teacher.

I have been employed as a German teacher at Sprachschule Schneider for six months. Good interaction and communication between supervisors and employees. You can take responsibility at any time, and suggestions are heard.
There are flexible working time models, home office is possible.

Sprachschule Schneider is a well-run, friendly and professional language school which has been serving the business community and private individuals in the Zurich area for more than 20 years. Teachers of many different languages are specially selected and courses individually designed to meet the needs of each student. Therefore I was proud to join the school as an English teacher. Sprachschule Schneider gives me all the independence, support and materials I need to give my students the best possible learning experience. I consider it a great place to teach and to learn.

Sprachschule Schneider is a warm and friendly school, with all the focus and attention given to students. No matter what their specific needs are, students are at the heart of this school and everyone, from the admin staff to the teachers are always ready to help. Small classes means that everyone participates in every lesson and gets the opportunity to speak their newly chosen language, as well as to ask questions and get further support with any homework challenges. I recommend this institution to anyone seeking to further their language skills.

I'm writing this review of Sprachschule Schneider as an English teacher there of over 15 years, all of which have covered an extensive range of class content.

The first thing to point out is how Florian Schneider has been able to set the standard for a distinctive brand of teaching in comparison to many other language schools I have seen in Zurich. The classes are very personalised to the needs of each client, who is then matched up to the right teacher and class form and size.
As a teacher, I was trusted from day 1 to craft lesson plans and goals as I saw fit. I was given the flexibility to ask for books and materials as needed and was paid a truly decent wage at a time when other schools did much less.

All of this was combined with administrative staff who were not just competent but cheerfully so! Lastly but not at all the least, as I went through some major life crises which meant my having to stop teaching unexpectedly for periods of time, Florian was extremely gracious and worked around my needs as I know very few employers would.

I work at Sprachschule Schneider as a language teacher (English and Mandarin Chinese). First of all, I would like to say that the school has a fantastic team of Admins who are not only fast and efficient, but also very friendly. Teacher's resources are always well-stocked and the school provides a positive environment to teach and learn. The students I've seen are always satisfied with the lessons and most come back for more. Highly recommended.

Which English courses do you offer?

We offer group courses, private tuition, intensive courses, Immersion™, exam preparation, company courses, and courses for children and teenagers. Depending on the format, lessons take place live online, in Zurich, at your home, or at your company.

Which English courses are available online?

Group courses, private tuition, and selected intensive and exam-preparation courses can be attended entirely live online. With e-learning, you study independently with personalised lessons at a time that suits you.

What is the difference between group courses and private tuition?

In a group course, you learn in a small, fixed group with an average of 3–4 participants. In private tuition, the content, pace, and schedule are tailored individually to your goals.

How do I find the right course for my level?

Our English courses follow the CEFR levels A1 to C2. Our English placement test and personal advice will help you find the right level and course format.

How do you prepare students for English exams?

We provide focused preparation for recognised exams such as Cambridge English and IELTS. You practise all relevant skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

What happens if I miss a lesson?

With VideoReplay™, selected missed lessons can be watched later, and you can revisit course content whenever you need to. Recordings are stored securely in a protected cloud environment.

We offer tailored Business English courses for companies. Content such as negotiations, presentations, and professional communication is adapted to the team; lessons can take place online or on site.
