This course is intended for learners who have already completed a course at A2-a level or who have a language ability equivalent to around 135-165 hours of study. We determine your current level free of charge and without obligation through a written placement test.

In this German course for German as a foreign language you will cover the following topics:
– talk about events and different topics
– express yourself in a situation-appropriate way
– formulate an opinion, make comparisons
– understand advertising brochures and user information
– write simple business and private texts in German

Goals

This German course enables you to achieve the following aims and skills:
– You can express your opinion on a variety of concrete topics and follow simple related discussions.
– You can understand the meaning of routine texts and the general meaning of texts on familiar topics.
– You can write short texts, simple personal letters and notes on different topics in German.
– You have a basis of simple everyday vocabulary and basic grammatical structures at your disposal.
– You know important information about Switzerland and other German-speaking countries and their people.
